Modern Approach to Document Work
for (not just) Legal Professionals
Limacta revolutionizes how lawyers and professionals work with important documents and contracts using cutting-edge technology. Eliminate errors, reduce wasted time, and maintain complete control over every version and change.
We are backbone to document content itself. Same as AI is your adviser to work on it.
Limacta is my vision of how lawyers and people who come into contact with legal or important documents could and should use modern technology. The main aspect is efficiency – not doing anything a machine can do for you, not searching for anything that should already be at hand, and not forgetting anything that has already been said or discovered once before.
Together with lawyers, I tested available tools, their modifications, and — thanks to my technological background — various new possibilities as well. Eventually, after several years of trial and failure, I managed to assemble modern technologies and connect them to the tools we commonly use, so that efficiency, speed, accuracy, legal certainty, and security in working with important documents would regain their value.
Using Limacta brings naturalness, clarity, and simplicity back into working with documents, particularly in the areas of editing, tracking, and maintaining content. There’s no longer any need to figure out how many versions you currently have and who is working with which one, to guess and search for the current final wording of a contract incorporating all amendments, to enable sharing and distributing only parts of a document without losing the link to the primary document, to check how client requirements were incorporated, or simply to leave notes, attachments, and emails linked directly to the relevant places in the document — even for colleagues who will work with the documents in the future. Beyond that, it also allows the machine to complement human capabilities and lets it automatically evaluate the obligations of one party or the other, track deadlines, or monitor changes due to legislative updates across all active contracts.
Thanks to such significant time savings and increased quality of work, people then have more room to devote themselves to what a machine doesn’t handle so well – creative and strategic activities, understanding the client’s needs and their requirements.

Time savings
Today, technology can already make document work more efficient in areas such as versioning, saving comments, or changes. Clients don’t want to pay for these activities, lawyers dislike doing them, and moreover they take up space and capacity that are needed for understanding business requirements, strategic thinking, and developing client relationships.
Typical activities:
- Loading the current wording of the contract, including all amendments
- Preparing changes to the contract, particularly when amendments already exist
- Distributing and merging versions and working copies of documents
- Tracing changes in the text’s history and their reasons
What if you had a tool that eliminates these activities, or at least radically reduces the time needed to carry them out?
Limacta can do it.
Maximum information retention
The legal documents themselves contain all the important information; however, nowadays this information can be enriched to the maximum extent, thereby increasing the informational value of the document.
Typical activities:
- Preserving supporting materials and client requirements linked to specific provisions
- History of changes in the document with identification of who made the changes and when
- Emails, images, supporting materials, communication, etc. — all these items can be directly linked to specific changes in the text, thus helping in the future when editing current texts, even if the legal team no longer has access to the original ones
- Automatic linking to legal sources – laws, case law, interpretations, etc. – and providing them while reading the document
- Linking to other documents and active change tracking
- Preserving the know-how generated during document preparation (client needs and risks, communication) and linking it to the final wording of the contract will help everyone understand the contract in a broader context
Today’s hyper-informational age can provide lawyers with tools in various forms that make their work easier and more efficient.
Limacta offers these tools directly as part of the standard MS Word text editor.
Increase in efficiency
Robotization, automation, AI text generation …. today it is already commonly used everywhere it makes sense. Machines probably won’t write a contract entirely on their own for a while yet, but they can work with texts quite effectively. Limacta offers the connection of all your used tools securely and under your control directly into the document.
Typical activities:
- Identifying the impacts of legislative changes on all active contracts
- Checking changes with legal entities – address updates, changes in trustworthiness, verifying contact details for contacts in contracts
- Tracing related case law, not only via paragraph numbers
- Monitoring deadlines from documents
Information technology can already handle all these points thanks to tools that law firms can use.
That’s why Limacta uses a unique system for storing text content, which can process information faster than individual text documents.
The tools should make it possible to get time to work
